~NATURAL RECIPES~

HONEY COOKIES

4 C. WHOLE WHEAT PASTRY FLOUR
1 1/4 TSP. NON-ALUMINUM BAKING POWDER
(RUMFORD BRAND FROM HEALTH FOOD STORES)
!/4 TSP. CELTIC SEA SALT
1 C. BUTTER (2 STICKS)
1/2 C. HONEY
1 EGG BEATEN
1 TSP. NATURAL VANILLA
1 TSP. NATURAL ALMOND FLAVORING
ALMOND SLICES MAY BE ADDED IF YOU CHOOSE

MIX AND ROLL INTO ROLLS.
CUT INTO ROUND COOKIES.
MAKE INDENTION IN THE MIDDLE WITH A SPOON.
FILL WITH NATURAL FRUIT PRESERVES (NO SUGAR).

350 DEGREE OVEN 10 OR 12 MINUTES

PINAPPLE-COCONUT VARIATION

2 C. FLOUR
2 C. COCONUT
2 EGGS BEATEN
PINEAPPLE BLENDED WITH SMALL AMOUNT OF HONEY FOR FILLING.

HAPPY DAY COOKIES

2 C. WW PASTRY FLOUR
2 C. OAT FLAKES
BAKING POWDER
1/4 TSP. CELTIC SEA SALT
1 1/2 C. BUTTER
1/2 C. HONEY
1 EGG BEATEN
1 TSP. NATURAL VANILLA
CINNAMON
NUTMEG
RAISINS
CAROB CHIPS
WALNUTS


350 degree oven 12 to 15 minutes

BISCUITS

2 C. WHOLE WHEAT PASTRY FLOUR
2 TSP. BAKING POWDER
1/4 TSP. CELTIC SALT
1/ 3 C. NATURAL BUTTER
2/ 3 C. WESTSOY RICE MIILK (PLAIN)

Shape biscuits on oiled cookie sheet or baking stone.

Bake 400 Degrees 12 to 15 minutes

HONEY CAROB BROWNIES

1 C. WHOLE WHEAT PASTRY FLOUR
1 TSP.BAKING POWDER
1/4 TSP. SALT
1/2 C. BUTTER
1/2 C. CAROB POWDER
1/2 CUP HONEY
2 EGGS, WELL BEATEN
1/2 CUP WALNUTS
1 TSP. NATURAL VANILLA

MIX TOGETHER DRY INGREDIENTS AND SET ASIDE.
MELT BUTTER IN SMALL SAUCEPAN OVER LOW HEAT.
ADD CAROB POWDER AND HONEY.
MIX TOGETHER AND REMOVE FROM HEAT.
IN MIXING BOWL, BEAT EGGS, GRADUALLY ADD CAROB MIXTURE.
ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX.
ADD VANILLA AND WALNUTS.
POUR BATTER INTO 8 INCH SQUARE, OILED PAN.

350 DEGREE OVEN 40 MINUTES
